West, RickyLee - age 50 of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord on Christmas Eve. Preceded in death by his sister, Melissa Beene-Raye, and his brother, Shaun Beene. Survivors: wife, Michelle West of Knoxville; mother, Betty Beene of Georgia; special aunt and uncle, Mary and Bobby Moore of Corryton; daughter, Alisha West, Knoxville; sons, Eugene West of Grainger County and Josh West of Knoxville; step-daughter, Donna Mase; step-sons, Chase Mase and Michael Cooper; brothers, Steve West of Georgia, and John Beene of Knoxville; 5 grandsons, 2 granddaughters; extended family: mother and father-in-law, David and Janice Borden. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at the Highland Memorial Chapel, services will follow at 8:00 p.m. with Reverend Jimmy Connatser officiating. Interment and committal services Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at Highland Memorial Cemetery with military rites provided by Volunteer State Honor Guard. Pallbearers: David Borden, Chase Mase, Eugene West, Josh West, John Beene and Jeremy West; Honorary pallbearers: Tim Arnold, Roy Robbins, Charles Oran and Forrest Pearson. Rick West was a good man,and I really enjoyed working with him.Cherokee has lost a very dedicated and profesional employee,and we have all lost a good friend.Please accept my deepest condolences,and may god be with you.
