I was stunned to hear of Brett's passing. I've known him for twenty five years and was blessed to have him in my life. He was just like my brother! I have so many fun memories from working on motorcycles in his yard to his tidbits about nature and birds and trees! Always made me mad cause he knew more about plants and birds and bikes and pretty much everything! Just like a big brother should, he never made me feel dumb and was always good to me. I'm sorry that I had lost touch with him, and I will surely miss him much. My prayers to mom and Cory and Fonda you have lost a good one. R

Brett was a great outdoorsman even at an early age. We had great fun hiking, camping, building canoes, and going to the lake when we were in Boy Scouts together. We had a lot of fun at Wesley Woods also. If I could skate I would have liked to play hockey with Brett. He was a great goalie. My thoughts and prayers go out to Myra, Cory, and Fonda.

Dear Fonda and Corey and other immediate and extended family. Judy and I were deeply sorry to hear about Brett. It gave me a warm feeling to read how he loved the outdoors and was doing some painting. I remember Brett's smiling face and him being part of the joy we all shared at Wesley Woods. I remember he always brought a laugh to all of us when he was around, and how he loved playing hockey. Our prayers are with you now and hope God can bring comfort in the days ahead. Blessings and prayers, David and Judy Porter

I am so very sorry to hear about Brett. I still tell stories about riding mini-bikes and motorcycles with Brett, as well as being afraid of the little chinchilla he had as a pet. That darn thing seemed to love to chew on my ankles. :-) I will also always remember all the talks we had about hockey. While I have not been in contact with Brett for some time, I will always consider him to be a valued childhood friend and big part of my life. Rest in Peace, friend.
