Tribute & Message From The Family

Noble, Walter Robert – age 89, went to join the heavenly choir on June 2, 2013. Walter passed away peacefully at home, just sitting in his easy chair, waiting for his morning cup of coffee. Walter was a loving brother, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend. Walter was a member of Cokesbury United Methodist Church and enjoyed the Young at Heart activities, or as he said, "those who think they are young at heart."
Walter felt led by the Lord to leave his home in Nebraska in 1954 and take his family to the hills of Kentucky to serve as a missionary at Red Bird Mission. He and Rachel served faithfully for 35 years before retiring to Knoxville to be near their two daughters. Walter continued to stay active working at Kroger for many years.
Walter was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; his son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Patti Noble; his brother, Warren Noble; and sisters, Irma West, Winnie Fitz, and Velma Golter. Left to cherish his memories are his sisters Verdell Sorensen and Sarabelle Graves; his children Scott Noble, Jill Nantz, Tom Noble, Alice Biter, and their spouses. He leaves behind 17 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

Life Stories

I can see it now. A wild game of "Aggravation" with the Nobel's and Slushers.
We wil miss you Walter. Love you.
