It has been some time since I last seen Bertie, but I have so many good menories of her when I used to visit Uncle Sam annd Aunt Bea. I never seen her when she didn't have a smile on her face and a good word to say about everyone. She was a very hard working special lady with a very big heart. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family in your great loss.

I was so sorry to hear about Bertie's passing. I have so many childhood memories over in Easton with Gram visiting Uncle Sam and Aunt Bea and playing with the girls at Berties house down the road. I will always remember her smile and laugh which she readily bestowed upon us. I have kept in touch with the family through Dad but sorry to say it has been a few years since I last saw Bertie. Please know my thoughts are with you all at this difficult time but I am sure you have a lifetime of wonderful memories with Bertie to sustain you and I am sure make you smile through your tears. Love Terri (Good) and Larry Tompkins

There are no words to express the gratitude and love I feel for you. You were my mother, my grandmother, my father, my heart, and my friend all bundled into one very special package. I am who I am today because of your infinite love and support. Your legacy will live on because of your incredible ability to love unconditionally and forgive without failing. You are the glue that keeps us connected, and the lessons you taught us through your daily walk will be reflected in our journeys as we continue here on earth with your beautiful angel wings protecting and loving us from above. The seeds you so lovingly scattered throughout your life will continue to grow this day and for many more days to come. I love you with all of my heart and I will miss you the rest of my days. "Heaven's train has come 'a callin'

The conductor tells me "time to go"

I hadn't seen it comin'

I wish that I'd 'a known

Soft smoke is billowin' billowin' up

The train whistles a fluted sound

And up eternity's track we'll go

Leavin' this earthly ground

I'd like to have known my passage was booked

The fare paid...my departure planned

'Cause I was just as surprised as you

When from life-to-death I spanned

So here I stand on the departure docks

And into eternity I'll go

But I'll leave part of my heart with you..."
