Condolence & Memory Journal

My first memory of Aunt Audrey was at my grandparent's house on Pansy Hill in Harriman. I was about 2 I think and I remember she had dark brown curly hair, big brown eyes and was wearing red lipstick. I thought she was beautiful! Aunt Audrey impressed me because she was the tallest woman I had ever seen and she wasn't afraid to wear high heels. My daddy laughed when I asked him why Aunt Audrey had picked Uncle Gene to marry. I thought she was too pretty for my uncle! Aunt Audrey dressed so nicely with her hair and nails always done. She was very feminine. However the most important quality of Aunt Audrey were that she was always interested in what I was doing including my grades, clothes and friends. She loved my son Jamie and told me how much it meant to hold him when I brought him to Tennessee at one month old. Aunt Audrey enjoyed traveling and telling her Hatfield nieces and nephews about her trips. I still have the small bottle of French perfume she gave me from her trip to France. It is still in my jewelry box after all these years. It is so wonderful to know Aunt Audrey has the joy and peace of being in Heaven with God.
